Phil Profeta was named Corporate Director of Purchasing for the University of Rochester and Strong Health System in January of 2003. For over 20 years Mr. Profeta has held various leadership posts in Purchasing/Materials Management and health administration including senior level administration/management of clinical areas including Pharmacy, Medical Imaging, and Clinical-Diagnostic Laboratory. Mr. Profeta has worked for companies in California, Texas, Maine, and Connecticut.

In Mr. Profeta's career to date, he has held leadership positions in the areas and fields of supply chain management, e-commerce, national group purchasing, software development, and creation of strategic alliances between providers and leading technology developers. His role as an educator and consultant has extended both nationally and internationally including countries in North America and Eastern Europe. Mr. Profeta has provided programs and seminars ranging from capital asset management to the development of corporate contracts.
